The 2016 Hurricane Season is almost over (ends on November 30, 2016). We are grateful for another year free of damage! However, after the big fright we will be revisiting our Hurricane Plan at our Board Meeting to be held December 7, 2016.
Below you will find what we had in place as a Hurricane Plan prior to Hurricane Matthew!
2015 Hurricane Predictions. Here are some predictions for this coming season.
Please note that we ARE NOT in an evacuation zone. Furthermore, we are not in a flood zone.
Charles Fanguay in Unit 1 and Warren Winsaft in Unit 2 have volunteered to be block captains for 28th Avenue and 14th Street.
We still need block captain volunteers for 14th Ct. in the event of a Hurricane. Please advise anyone on the Board if you are interested in being the block captain for your street. Block captains will assist in fielding questions and disseminating information provided by the Board regarding: staging areas for debris, debris removal service and game plan, maintenance issues, managing reports of damage, coordinating the prompt mitigation of any roof damage, etc.
